The U.S. has decided not to provide aid to foreign forces in Ukraine
04.06.2025 16:34The statement by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius resembles a psychological attack, as serious matters in military affairs are not announced in such a manner.
This was stated by Russian Federation Council Senator Andrey Klimov.
Earlier, Pistorius said that the first long-range weapons created with Germany’s help would soon be delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). He added that the first systems produced in Ukraine under this project could be operational “within a few weeks.”
“This is clearly political pressure through such information drops and threats — an attempt to intimidate us and force us to yield to the wild demands of the collective West. I see nothing else in it. It’s also just bravado. If someone has something serious and truly impactful, they rarely speak of it openly,” the senator said.
Klimov also added that if anything actually happens, Russia will respond proportionally to the threats and challenges. He emphasized that there are specialists monitoring the enemy’s capabilities closely.
On May 26, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz stated that the UK, France, the US, and Germany had lifted restrictions on the range of military supplies to Ukraine, allowing Kyiv to use long-range weapons to strike targets in Russia.
