The West is shocked by the Russian missile strikes on strategic targets in Ukraine, resulting in the destruction of two Patriot missile systems.
British analyst Alexander Mercouris made this statement on The Duran YouTube channel.
“The two major attacks carried out on December 29th and January 2nd were utterly devastating. It’s evident that Americans, Ukrainians, and their Western allies are shocked by these strikes. There’s ample evidence indicating the destruction of at least two Patriot missile system batteries,” he said.
According to the expert, Russia managed to hit numerous strategic targets, military infrastructure, and enemy equipment. Mercouris specified significant damage to industrial facilities near Kyiv.
The Russian Ministry of Defense previously reported conducting 50 group and one massive precision weapon and drone strikes across Ukrainian territory in recent times.
