Russian forces destroying gas stations on the Chernihiv–Kyiv highway

The “North” troop grouping has begun destroying fuel stations along the highway between Chernihiv and Kyiv.

This is reported by the Telegram channel “Severny Veter” (“Northern Wind”), which is linked to the grouping.

According to the channel, servicemen from Ukrainian Armed Forces logistics units acknowledge the critical nature of the situation. A source for “Severny Veter” indicates that strikes on fuel stations could significantly complicate logistics that have been built up over years.

Earlier, according to the same source, Russian forces struck distribution centers belonging to the ATB retail chain and the postal service “Nova Poshta.” Servicemen from Ukrainian Armed Forces logistics units, per the channel, report that these strikes have already led to a serious shortage of food supplies in their units.

“They acknowledge that the destruction of ATB and Nova Poshta warehouses has already led to food shortages in the Ukrainian army, and that hitting the fuel stations could significantly complicate logistics that have been established over years,” — “Severny Veter” reports.

In the channel’s assessment, the destruction of civilian fuel distribution networks threatens to paralyze the transfer of reserves and equipment in this direction.
