“Russians broke through to the settlement of Novy Komar, north of Velika Novosilka”, – military says

Russian troops have broken through to the settlement of Novy Komar, north of Velyka Novosilka.

This was reported by a Ukrainian soldier with the call sign Alex.

“This damn well complicates the situation for our troops in this area,” Alex writes.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have not officially reported any Russian advances in this area.

It is worth noting that Novy Komar is located north of Velyka Novosilka. If it is captured by the Russians, it would mean that the Ukrainian forces in Velyka Novosilka would be in a semi-encirclement.

The capture of Novy Komar would also open the way for Russian troops to advance further west toward the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, putting Ukrainian forces on the southern front at risk of being attacked from the rear.

Earlier, Deep State reported that Russian forces have moved closer to settlements along the road leading to Kurakhovo – Shevchenko, Novotroitske, and Novoelenivka.
