Semi-naked in the spare tire compartment: pregnant Czech woman attempts to take Ukrainian man abroad

In Ukraine, a pregnant foreign woman attempted to smuggle a semi-naked man abroad in the spare tire compartment of a car.

The video was published by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

A 29-year-old Czech citizen was transporting a 28-year-old Ukrainian man in the concealed compartment of a BMW car. The two are in a civil partnership.

“At the Luhanka checkpoint, during a thorough inspection of the BMW driven by the foreign woman, border guards along with customs officials discovered a naked man in the spare tire compartment, in a specially equipped hiding place,” the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported.

When the man was discovered, he and the woman got into a dispute. The police arrived to calm the situation and decided to tow the BMW.

At that point, the woman first lay down under the wheels, presumably trying to simulate being run over, and then attempted to flee in the car.

Now, the pregnant woman could face criminal charges under Article 332 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code (illegal transportation of individuals across the state border of Ukraine). Currently, the man who attempted to cross the border illegally is being held at a temporary detention center of the Mukachevo Border Guard Unit.
