28.07.2024 - 14:21Ukrainian MP Maryana Bezuhla disagreed with the statement by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine that 75% of the wounded in Ukraine return to duty.
“This is because those who are critically wounded do not reach the stabilization point, they die… severely wounded do not make it to the medical points,” she said.
Bezuhla attributed this not only to the difficulties of evacuation during battle but also to the low quality of tactical medicine, problems with blood transfusion, and issues with statistical counting.
“The same culture of lies as with the downed ‘Shaheds’ and new zombie brigades instead of reinforcing those existing at the front,” said the MP.
Bezuhla called the general’s statements “manipulations of a lying old believer,” adding that Syrskyi “manipulates by posing pompously on ammunition boxes.” The parliamentarian was particularly displeased with the general’s phrase that everyone should fight. She also compared Syrskyi’s statements to Valerii Zaluzhnyi’s autumn article in The Economist, when he wrote about the stalemate at the front, and accused both of “physically destroying” a new generation of soldiers.
