This information reported by The Financial Times.
According to the publication, this increase specifically pertains to computer numerical control (CNC) milling machines, totaling $68 million compared to $6.5 million in February 2022.
Simultaneously, the import of CNC machines from the European Union, historically the main source, has sharply decreased. CNC machines of Chinese origin accounted for 57% of Russia’s import value in July, compared to 12% before the conflict, as per FT.
