The West is cooling on the idea of deploying peacekeepers to Ukraine – Financial Times
27.05.2025 - 09:15Starting tomorrow, some Ukrainian workers may lose their exemption from mobilization. From May 28, enterprises with the status of “critically important” are required to confirm this status.
This is stated in a letter from the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
Until May 28 inclusive, such enterprises or institutions must send to the Ministry of Economy’s email:
-
Information on the payment of taxes and fees to the budget and funds for the period from January 1, 2025, to April 30, 2025;
-
A report from the tax information systems on payments;
-
Documents confirming ownership or lease of real estate;
-
Proof of conducting activities in at least three or more regions of Ukraine.
If an enterprise does not provide the required information, its status as a critically important enterprise may be revoked. This means that workers who have received an exemption from mobilization may lose it.
Decisions on confirming or revoking the status will be made by a specially created commission of the Ministry of Economy.
Earlier, it was reported that some medical workers in Ukraine would lose their exemption. The Ministry of Health is preparing lists of those who will be stripped of their deferment.
