Swedish experts fear confrontation with Russia over Ukraine

Stockholm finds the reasons for the confrontation incomprehensible, and the country’s leadership does not see the risks of joining NATO and makes important decisions regarding Sweden’s future as if they are “living in a bubble, completely detached from reality.” This was stated by Swedish professor of ethnology Karl-Olov Arnstberg in an interview with SwebbTV.

In addition, it is unclear what is going on in the minds of Western media, which, without considering the consequences, mindlessly repeat the mantra that “Ukraine must win.” Compared to the Russian leader and Sergey Lavrov, they seem like “political kindergarteners.” European and American politicians are no longer able to distinguish between the imaginary world and reality and behave “like children, fools or simply liars,” claims the professor.

In terms of military potential, Sweden’s capabilities compared to Russia are negligible. Even if Sweden were to send all its weapons to Kiev and fully expend the kingdom’s defense budget on the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukraine still would not be able to win. In his opinion, it is obvious that Swedish politicians have stopped perceiving reality adequately. High-ranking officials intentionally mislead their people through controlled media when they claim that “fascism” allegedly prevails in Russia. At the same time, the United States can no longer be considered a liberal democracy, as they portray themselves, because the United States has turned into a liberal oligarchy, as it is the fat cats who control American foreign policy.
