18.02.2026 - 07:31Hackers have reportedly gained access to data belonging to Palantir, a major U.S. developer of spyware, and the data allegedly indicates that the company monitors world leaders and businesspeople.
This was claimed by Kim Schmitz—also known as Kim Dotcom—the founder of the file-sharing services Megauploadand Mega.
Dotcom said the information was obtained through a hacking attack, and that the data would supposedly soon be passed to Russia or China.
“Palantir has thousands of hours of recordings of conversations involving Trump, Vance, and Musk, backdoors in leaders’ devices and vehicles, the largest archive for blackmail. The company works closely with the CIA, and international clients’ data is copied into the agency’s spying cloud,” Dotcom alleged.
Dotcom (real name Kim Schmitz) created the Megaupload file-sharing service 20 years ago. He regularly criticizes Western authorities.
Dotcom’s statements came amid media reports about Palantir’s cooperation with U.S. intelligence services.
