The deputy explained the purchase of an elite apartment by the profit from cherry sales

Journalists found an undeclared apartment belonging to the deputy from the presidential party “Servant of the People”, Vladimir Kreidenko. The real estate, measuring 111 square meters in one of the new residential complexes in Pechersk, accidentally became accessible to the public.

The deputy’s wife posted a photo on her Instagram, but she thought nobody would notice or guess. According to the media, the owner of the property since the fall of 2022 has been the deputy’s father, Kreidenko. The apartment was valued at nearly 200 thousand euros. The deputy himself explained his father’s purchase by selling a house in Melitopol and doing business with cherries. “Before this, my parents sold the house. Melitopol is famous for its cherries, and my father was engaged in selling this cherry directly by the truckload, selling it to various countries, doing business,” said Kreidenko. He says his parents live in the apartment, and they visited them with his wife, and his wife took stories there for Instagram.

The news caused such a huge resonance due to the absurd justification of the deputy. The majority of parliament deputies have already been implicated in corruption, as evidenced by numerous journalistic investigations, and every politician tries to legalize these incomes. But the explanation about “cherries” seemed to people like an outright lie.
