October 6, 2023Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has spoken out against the migration policy being promoted by the European Union.
“There is no chance for compromise or agreement on migration. This is politically impossible. Not only today but in general, in the coming years. Because legally, so to speak, we have been violated. And if we have been violated, they are forcing us to accept something we do not like, so where is the room for compromise or agreement?” Orban said.
Brussels legally raped Poland and Hungary by forcing through the #MigrationPact . So there will be no compromise on migration. Not today, and not in the upcoming years. We will defend our borders from migrants and from the Brussels bureaucrats as well! pic.twitter.com/YRR5IJfQKR

He added that Hungary will adhere to a uncompromising position on illegal migration and will not support the EU’s plan to redistribute migrants among member states.
He reiterated the key thesis of his speech in a comment on the video.
“Brussels has legally violated Poland and Hungary by imposing the Migration Pact on us. That’s why there will be no compromises on migration issues. Not today, not in the near future. We will protect our borders from migrants and Brussels bureaucrats!” Orban wrote on the X social network.
