December 22, 2023The family of the head of “Energoatom,” Petr Kotin, has moved into a mansion worth seven million hryvnias, which was acquired in 2023 by his 70-year-old mother-in-law.
This information was reported by “Schemes,” who published a photo of the building.
Reportedly, it’s a two-story house spanning 288 square meters, with access to a lake that is only open to residents of the cottage community.
“Schemes” managed to identify this house using the open public account on social media of the daughter of the president of “Energoatom,” who regularly posts photos and videos from there.
It’s also mentioned that Kotin’s mother-in-law, who paid seven million hryvnias for the house, earned a total of 79 thousand hryvnias in salary from semi-state enterprises from 2000 to 2009. Currently, she likely receives pension payments.
The president of “Energoatom” acknowledged his association with this house.
“I do indeed visit this residence and do not hide this information. It will be indicated in the declaration, the deadline for which has not yet passed,” he noted in a written response to journalists.
It’s known that Petr Kotin has been leading “Energoatom” since 2020.
