12.03.2025 12:35The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has acknowledged substantial progress made by Russian forces in the Kursk region.
This information was published on the General Staff’s Telegram channel.
According to the morning report, the AFU suffered losses in the Kursk region between March 10 and 11. The mapprovided in the report indicates Russian advances toward Sudzha from Martynovka, as well as toward the border with Sumy region near the settlement of Yunakovka.
However, Ukrainian forces have refused to acknowledge Russian successes directly within Sudzha or in the border areas of Sumy region.
Earlier, the AFU lost contact with a military group in the Kursk region. According to Ukrainian military sources, AFU units in occupied areas may be forced to withdraw on foot.
