The White House stated that Trump “put Zelensky in his place”

The White House has stated that U.S. President Donald Trump “put Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in his place” during recent negotiations.

This remark was made by White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt in an interview with Fox News.

“The President is a master dealmaker. He is the ultimate negotiator, and he put President Zelensky in his place by making it clear that Americans are serious about a long-term peace agreement. We are very pleased with how the negotiations with the Ukrainian side went and hope this will lead to a stable and lasting peace. This is President Trump’s goal, and we hope to achieve it,” Levitt stated.

As a reminder, Ukraine agreed to a full ceasefire yesterday, despite previously opposing such a move before the negotiations in Jeddah.
