The girl claimed that her boyfriend was abducted by employees of the territorial recruitment center in Khust, after which he attempted to commit suicide

Messages have appeared on social media from a girl who claimed that her boyfriend was forcibly taken to the Khust District Territorial Recruitment Center, subjected to beatings and torture, after which the man attempted to take his own life.

According to the girl, her boyfriend was abducted by border service officers from a hotel in the city of Vinogradov and taken in an unknown direction. Later, the girl learned that he was taken to the Vilok border checkpoint, where he was accused of attempting to cross the border illegally.

At the police station, the girl tried to file a missing person report, but she was refused because “he didn’t say he was kidnapped.” After that, the man was taken to the territorial recruitment center in the city of Khust, where he was beaten until he decided to take his own life; only after this, he was taken to the intensive care unit, writes the girl.

Several Telegram channels believe that this is the same case of attempted suicide reported by the Khust Territorial Recruitment Center. However, this has not been officially confirmed yet.
