“Some territories of Ukraine may remain under Russia’s control,” – Czech President
September 24, 2024After Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to the U.S., the Ukrainian president was criticized by Donald Trump and his son.
Presidential candidate Donald Trump, at a rally of his supporters, called the Ukrainian president a “salesman.”
“I see Zelensky has arrived. I consider Zelensky the greatest salesman in history. Every time he comes to our country, he goes back with $60 billion. Billions!” Trump said.
At the same time, Donald Trump Jr. wrote a post criticizing Zelensky for his remarks in an interview with “The New Yorker,” where Zelensky stated that Trump “doesn’t actually know how to stop the war.” In the same interview, Zelensky called Trump’s ally J.D. Vance a “radical” for suggesting that the war in Ukraine be ended along the front line.
“So, a foreign leader who has received billions of dollars in funding from American taxpayers comes to our country and has the audacity to attack the Republican Party’s candidate for president? And he does this right after a pro-Ukrainian fanatic tried to kill my father? Shameful!” wrote Donald Trump Jr.
It should be recalled that Zelensky had announced plans to meet with Trump during his visit to the U.S. to present his “victory plan.”
The Office of the President stated that President Volodymyr Zelensky’s “victory plan” includes five points, among which are the continuation of the Kursk operation and obtaining modern weapons from the West.
