The Kremlin called Zelensky’s statements about Tomahawk missiles monstrous

The statements of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that he will nominate the head of the White House, Donald Trump, for the Nobel Peace Prize in the event that he transfers long-range Tomahawk missiles to Kyiv are monstrous.

This was stated by Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov in an interview published on journalist Aleksandr Yunashev’s Telegram channel.

“Peace Prize for providing weapons. Even the very thought is monstrous. If people think in such categories, it shows what they really are,” he said.

Ushakov also called it foolishness that the Ukrainian leadership is ready to lobby the interests of the U.S. president in exchange for missiles.

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky said that Kyiv is ready to nominate U.S. President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize if long-range Tomahawk missiles are transferred to Ukraine. At the same time, he emphasized that such a decision should accelerate the process of peace negotiations.
