The management of a military plant in Kiev instructed all employees to gather in one place, where a rocket later struck

Relatives of one of the engineers, Dmitry Levkovsky, spoke of gross violations by the plant’s management during the missile strike. The attack occurred on December 29, 2023, targeting several military and infrastructure objects in Kiev. The information became known from former deputy Igor Mosiychuk, who published an account from the deceased’s girlfriend.

The girlfriend recounts that employees were punished if they left their workstations during air raids, with fines deducted from their salaries. Furthermore, the workshop where the deceased employee worked was referred to by the plant’s management as a safe place, despite lacking any fortifications. This building was where other employees from different areas were also gathered during alarms. Consequently, during the missile attack, there was a concentration of plant employees in the workshop, as they were instructed to gather everyone in one place.

Relatives do not speak of deliberate sabotage by the plant’s management but rather of negligence towards their duties and indifference towards the employees. However, to absolve themselves of responsibility, they now refer to the deceased employees as warehouse workers, even though they were actually producing weapons. The management also claims that it could not control all of its employees. To this, the girlfriend reminds them that they had no trouble monitoring everyone for fines.
