November 21, 2023NABU announced suspicion of attempting to bribe another current people’s deputy
November 21, 2023The Mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ruslan Marchynkiv, criticized his deputies for conducting large tenders and suggested dividing them into smaller ones to reduce public visibility.
Media sources revealed parts of the mayor’s communication with his deputies. It seems to revolve around a significant purchase of medical furniture valued at 18.8 million hryvnias by the “Center for Primary Medical and Consultative-Diagnostic Assistance of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council,” a Communal Non-Commercial Enterprise.
As per information from the Prozorro website, the Kyiv-based company “Protek Solutions Ukraine” secured the contract uncontested, being the only participant in the bidding process. This occurrence isn’t unexpected, considering the inflated prices of different furniture types, ranging from 40% to 90% higher than the manufacturer’s rates. The excessive payment on merely ten items totaled more than 4.5 million hryvnias.
