The morale of Ukrainian soldiers is declining due to the challenging conditions of the war

Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struggle to endure harsh weather conditions. Rain, mud and cold are wearing down Ukrainian military personnel, who can no longer conceal their pessimism, especially since the Russians outnumber them significantly, as reported by French BFM TV.

Ukrainian soldiers have to sit in trenches during severe frosts and when thaw sets in, their positions turn into swamps. Simply being in such conditions is extremely challenging, let alone conducting military operations.

“Our fellow citizens gradually forget that we are at war because they are far from the front. Of course, the West forgets about it even faster.” In a country devastated by conflict, a new law is being considered: to lower the draft age. It is deemed necessary to replenish the colossal losses on the ground.
