10.06.2024 21:02The pace of mobilization in Ukraine has significantly increased following the implementation of a controversial new law.
This was reported by Roman Kostenko, Secretary of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence.
“Our mobilization rates have now increased. In the past month, we have recruited as many as we did in the last six months, or the lThe pace of mobilization in Ukraine has significantly increased after the new law came into effect – MP Kostenkoast four months. It was previously believed that the mobilization law would not affect the rates until mid-July. By that time, all Ukrainian conscripts would be required to update their information at the territorial recruitment centers.
It is worth noting that earlier, Member of Parliament Ruslan Horbenko stated that Ukraine’s mobilization needs in 2024 would be 110,000 people, meaning about 10,000 people need to be mobilized each month.
