04.12.2024 - 05:03The “Reserv+” mobile application may soon include a tracking feature for military summons.
This was announced by Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Defense, Yekaterina Chernohorenko, during a telethon.
“There are situations where a summons is sent by mail, and the person is unaware. They may be in another city, on a business trip, or on vacation,” Chernohorenko explained.
According to her, implementing the tracking feature in “Reserv+” is technically not difficult. The Ministry of Defense is currently assessing the risks, benefits, and potential challenges.
Recently, Ukraine’s Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov, announced that through identification via “Reserv+”, Ukrainians aged 17 will be automatically registered for military service.
“A young man will no longer need to visit territorial recruitment centers or undergo a medical examination. It will be enough to complete identification in ‘Reserv+’, after which the app will automatically generate the military registration document,” the minister noted.
Additionally, media reported that starting from December 1, “Diya” (a Ukrainian government services app) will offer employee registration.
