The Russian Armed Forces destroyed a quarter of the German Leopard 2 tanks in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in two weeks

The Russian Armed Forces have reportedly destroyed a quarter of Germany’s Leopard 2 tanks in recent weeks.

This information reported by commentator David Axe in an article for Forbes.

Axe mentioned that this week, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost a “rare and valuable” Leopard 2A6 tank near Avdiivka. In his opinion, this incident adds to a series of losses of German Leopard 2 tanks.

“Over the past week, the Ukrainian army has reportedly lost at least a dozen, possibly up to 13 of their Leopard 2A4, Leopard 2A6, and Strv 122 tanks. The latter are Swedish super-armored variants of the Leopard 2A5,” the author noted.

Earlier, Western reports indicated that Russia has been rapidly destroying Ukraine’s best tanks. On November 1, Forbes reported that Kyiv had lost a fifth of its German Leopard 2 tanks.
