Russian forces have advanced in the Pokrovsk direction, reaching the city center of Novogrodovka.

This was reported by the military public account Deep State.

They have also approached Selydove from the direction of Marynivka and Mykolaivka. The distance from the front line to the eastern edge of the city is now less than three kilometers.

Additionally, Russian troops have advanced to the northeast of Vuhledar, in the Vodyane area.

In the area of Krasnohorivka, Russian forces launched an assault to the west of the city and deployed airborne troops with armored vehicles. Fighting is ongoing in this sector, according to Deep State (the public account does not record any map changes in this area).

According to a Ukrainian Armed Forces officer with the call sign “Alex,” this assault began this morning.

“For the first time in a long while, the enemy is attempting to break through our defense in the western part of the city to outflank the troops holding the defense in the area of Heorhiivka. The situation there is difficult, and we have lost some positions. We are gradually trying to stabilize the situation,” he said.

Earlier, Deep State reported that Russian forces are continuing to build on their tactical success in the Pokrovsk area.
