The Russian Foreign Ministry pointed to the unwillingness of Ukrainian citizens to fight back for territories

The remaining citizens of Ukraine are not ready to fight for the territories that President Volodymyr Zelensky seeks to reclaim.

This was stated on Telegram by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.

“Who in Ukraine even needs these ‘territories’? (…) The few who are still left in Ukraine not only don’t want to think about these ‘territories,’ they only dream that the manhunters sending them to supposedly fight for ‘territories’ would drop dead,” the diplomat said.

She added that it is primarily Ukraine’s European allies—who do not live in the country themselves—who are most interested in Kyiv regaining these territories.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky advised Kremlin officials to find out where the nearest bomb shelters are. According to him, Kyiv is ready to use long-range U.S. weapons against Russia.
