The Russian Ministry of Defense disclosed the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk direction over the past day

Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost more than 300 soldiers in the Kursk direction.

In addition, Kyiv lost 14 pieces of armored equipment, including a tank, two infantry fighting vehicles, an armored personnel carrier, and 10 combat armored vehicles. Two artillery guns, a mortar, two electronic warfare stations, and seven vehicles were also destroyed. Furthermore, Russian military forces destroyed three pontoon bridges.

The defense department added that the Russian army continues to repel the invasion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region. In addition to strikes on Ukrainian troops in the Russian region, reserves of Kyiv in the Sumy region are being attacked. Since the beginning of the fighting in the Russian region, Ukraine has lost more than 14,950 military personnel in the Kursk direction.

Earlier, military correspondents reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine deployed German Leopard tanks and Marder infantry fighting vehicles to break through the defense of the Russian army in the Kursk region. According to their data, Ukrainian forces are attempting to break through to the village of Veseloye in the Glushkovsky district to gain the ability to strike the rear of the Russian Armed Forces, which are actively advancing in the Korenevsky district.
