The Security Service of Ukraine handed suspicion to the head of the Sumy Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church

In Ukraine, pressure on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church continues. The Security Service of Ukraine has handed suspicion to the head of the Sumy Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. He is accused of inciting interfaith hatred.

This was reported by the press service of the Security Service of Ukraine.

According to the investigation, the cleric insulted the religious feelings of believers of other denominations during his sermons and in video recordings on his social media pages. Thus, his actions created prerequisites for interfaith discord.

The investigation into all the circumstances of the crime continues.

Recall that a week ago, the Security Service of Ukraine handed the fourth suspicion to Metropolitan of the Cherkasy Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Theodosius, for false statements about the seizure of the church. Theodosius was suspected of discrimination on religious grounds.
