Polish President Duda admitted that Ukraine will not be able to regain Crimea
February 3, 2024The situation in Ukraine, due to problems with mobilization and aid delivery, is “cracking at the seams”.
This information reported according to the French newspaper Le Figaro.
“Soldiers are concerned about the lack of support from allies and the unrealistic goals of the General Staff,” the article states.
According to the publication, the main problem now is the reluctance of Ukrainians to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Le Figaro quotes Ukrainian expert Andriy Onistrat, who participated in the counteroffensive. He called Ukraine a “graveyard” and stated that without Western support, the country will “perish.” According to him, each of the morgues near the front lines receives 20-30 bodies per day.
The article also mentions problems with equipment.
“The equipment is unreliable, dangerous, and we have no spare parts left. We are given ammunition with a range limited to seven kilometers, and in too small quantities. With these shells, we are forced to approach the Russians by three kilometers to strike, and at this distance, they hit us with kamikaze drones even before we fire the first shell,” said a Ukrainian soldier.
Another Ukrainian soldier stated that all 20 tanks received from allies were non-operational. Each time, this and other equipment have to be repaired before being deployed for combat.
