Two men accused in a high-profile case of rape of a 14-year-old girl in Zakarpattia three years ago are trying to avoid responsibility through mobilization.
This was stated by local journalist Vitaliy Glagola.
Today the defense filed a motion to postpone the trial because of the mobilization of the accused, providing copies of the summonses.
The victim’s lawyers believe that this is part of a strategy to drag out the case and that the case was deliberately dragged out until the accused turned 18, at which point they applied to the Obukhiv territorial center for recruitment in Kyiv region.
The crime took place in August 2021. Then a 14-year-old girl was raped by three teenagers.
The other day the media wrote that the head of the Department of supervision of the State Bureau of investigations of Cherkasy regional Prosecutor’s office was detained on suspicion of pedophilia.
