The Ukrainian Air Defense Forces are exhausted due to the delay in US aid

The exhaustion of the Ukrainian air defense system due to the delay in US aid is increasing the effectiveness of Russian strikes.

This is reported by the American research center “Institute for the Study of War” (ISW) in a special report, as Radio Liberty informs.

The report states that the effectiveness of Russian airstrikes on Ukraine is increasing even without an increase in frequency and scale, due to the depletion of the air defense system caused by a lack of American military assistance.

Researchers speak of increasing long-term damage to Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and warn that without the swift resumption of American aid, Russia could seriously damage the combat capability of Ukrainian forces and create conditions for significant advancement on the battlefield.

Earlier, military expert Bild stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have run out of missiles for most air defense systems.

ISW experts also believe that Ukraine will have to concede “some territory” and retreat to more defensible positions.
