Ukrainian lawyer Oleksandr Peresolyak reported that he has been held at the Uzhhorod Territorial Recruitment Center for six days.
He shared this information on Facebook.
“I want to remind you that on Wednesday, I was detained by police officers (who had been following me for several hours beforehand) and brought to the Territorial Recruitment Center, which ignored my right to deferment and my actual health condition and mobilized me,” Peresolyak wrote.
“They simply followed an order given by the regional recruitment center: to mobilize lawyer Oleksandr Peresolyak at any cost. The reason for this is clear. Our organization defends the rights of servicemen and conscripts, which has led to considerable discontent among the regional leaders of the recruitment center,” he explained.
It is worth mentioning that yesterday, a resident of Kolomyia stated that her husband was conscripted into the army despite holding a deferment from “Ukrzaliznytsia,” which had been renewed for over two years. Recruitment center staff reportedly tore up the deferment document.
