November 13, 2024In the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, there has been a third call since yesterday to dissolve military enlistment offices and send their staff to the front lines.
This statement was made by MP Maryana Bezuhla on her Telegram channel.
Bezuhla believes that the dissolution of territorial recruitment centers could free up at least 50,000 military personnel.
“It remains relevant that neither the Ministry of Defense nor the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have financial analytics; it is a ‘black hole.’ The number of personnel in territorial recruitment centers, together with recruitment centers, amounts to up to 100,000 people. If territorial recruitment centers were disbanded, leaving only a recruitment function, transferring administrative duties to the administrative service centers (CNAP), and introducing direct enlistment into brigades with centralized monitoring, at least 50,000 military personnel from these centers could reinforce necessary combat units,” Bezuhla wrote.
Previously, a temporary commission of the Verkhovna Rada called for the dissolution of territorial recruitment centers, as noted by MP Yuliya Yatsyk from the “Servant of the People” party.
He mentioned that the actions of military commissioners disrupt mobilization efforts, as most people hide from them, while those who do join military units often go AWOL.
