The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has passed a bill in its first reading to resume tax audits of businesses that were halted since the beginning of the war.
This announcement was made by Member of Parliament Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
The bill received support from 237 deputies. The document expands the list of scheduled documentary tax audits starting from November 1.
Zheleznyak has mentioned that the date is likely to be changed.
For entrepreneurs in the first and second groups, as well as those in conflict zones and occupied regions, tax audits are still suspended.
The bill №8401, introduced since August 2023, prioritizes audits in sectors such as tobacco, fuel, alcohol, gambling, and financial services, as noted by the deputy.
