13.11.2025 19:30Western partners are urging Ukraine to expand mobilization.
This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with Bloomberg.
According to the head of state, Ukraine is currently recruiting about 30,000 people per month, but partners and the military are raising the issue of greater mobilization.
Zelensky noted that the authorities intend to maintain a balance on this issue so that a sufficient number of people keep working and paying taxes that fund the army.
“Therefore I respond during the war cabinets, and of course the soldiers raise this topic, as do our partners. But the partners are not on the battlefield, and so, with all due respect to them, the decision was to mobilize about 30,000 monthly,” the president said.
As a reminder, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko proposed lowering the mobilization age from 25 to 22 due to an acute shortage of soldiers. According to him, the gap between the size of the Ukrainian forces and the Russian army continues to grow.
