Former Commander of US Forces in Europe Ben Hodges expressed.

“Of course, I was disappointed that the Ukrainian counteroffensive did not achieve the results we all hoped for and that I had forecast. It is we, the West, who failed, not Ukraine. We couldn’t provide them with what they were counting on, including airpower, long-range precision weapons and other capabilities needed for the success of this counteroffensive,” he stated in the Silicon Curtain YouTube podcast.

Previously, Ben Hodges had predicted a confident victory for Ukraine and believed the counteroffensive would conclude successfully. However, as the Ukrainian army faced significant setbacks, he began to change his stance.
