Ukrainian artists were deceived out of several million hryvnias

The leader of the group “SKAY,” Oleg Sobchuk, disclosed the most extensive scam in the Ukrainian show business industry.

Recently, several renowned artists announced the cancellation of concerts for which tickets had already been sold. The reason behind this was the organizer of these performances fleeing with the money. What’s intriguing is that this individual had been gaining the trust of these stars for many years. Sobchuk stated that his group alone lost 3.6 million hryvnias. Additionally, Zlata Ognevich, Taras Chubay and Ruslana were also victims of this deception.

The concert has been rescheduled from December to March, and during this period, the artist is contemplating how to resolve this issue. He mentions that people won’t get their money back, though he remains hopeful that if the scammer is apprehended, there might be a chance to resolve matters. He did not specify whether he reached out to law enforcement.
