“This must stop.” Ending the war in Ukraine will be a priority for the Trump administration

The war in Ukraine must end, and this will be a priority for the administration of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump.

Trump made this statement during a meeting with politicians and leaders from various countries at his residence.

“We will work very hard on Russia and Ukraine. This must stop. I have seen reports of thousands of people being killed in three days; they were soldiers. But whether it is soldiers or people in cities, we will work on this [ending the war],” he said.

Earlier, Trump’s incoming National Security Advisor Mike Waltz confirmed that the president-elect intends to bring Ukraine and Russia to the negotiating table to end the war. Waltz emphasized that Trump’s opinion will be decisive on Ukraine policy within the White House.
