‘This war will last for a long time. It could go on for years’, – Azov commander says

The war in Ukraine will be long.

This information stated by Denis “Redis” Prokopenko, the commander of “Azov,” on Facebook.

He believes that many Ukrainians are hoping that the war “will soon end on its own” and “are petrified by the thought that peace in Ukraine might not come for almost a decade.”

“The best remedy for despondency, panic, or apathy caused by contemplating the timeframe of this war is active engagement in the historical processes that are happening here and now,” Redis stated.

He is also convinced that men should make a conscious choice and join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Those who are not yet involved in service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine must make a conscious choice: take up arms, joining the military ranks, or become a reliable rear support for the army, contributing to the country’s defense capability,” Redis added.

“This war will last a long time. It could go on for years,” Redis stated.
