Those who have not updated their information with the territorial recruitment centers are being tracked through ‘Ukrposhta’ or by direct notification

The majority of men who did not update their military registration information by July 16 are being tracked down through “Ukrposhta” (the national postal service) or via home notification.

This was stated in an interview with Ukrainian media by Serhiy Monukalo, head of the mobilization and defense sector of the Sumy Military Commissariat.

“Representatives of the Territorial Recruitment Center visit the home address, and they always send postal notices with an itemized list of enclosures. A summons without such a list, or one that is just dropped into a mailbox without an envelope, is not considered properly delivered—it must be either sent through the postal system or handed personally. Similarly, a person is not considered properly notified if relatives either accept or refuse the summons and claim that the person does not live at that address,” Monukalo explained.

If it is discovered that the military conscript does not reside at the specified address, a request is sent to the police to issue a search warrant for the individual.

“All violators are added to a database as violators of military registration rules, and appropriate proceedings will be initiated against them,” Monukalo added.

Previously, a representative of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Territorial Recruitment Center stated that conscripts who had not updated their registration data or did not have military documents automatically became violators and are now being sought by the police.
