04.04.2024 - 10:39Germany has condemned a local official who molested Ukrainian refugee children under threat of deportation.
This is reported by the German tabloid Bild.
The Land Court of Hamburg sentenced 43-year-old Dennis W. to eight years in prison for sexually molesting Ukrainian boys aged 9 and 11 and producing child pornography.
After the Russian Federation invasion, the German helped their family to leave for Germany, promising to be their “protector”. However, he then began blackmailing the family, threatening them with deportation, demanding intimacy with the children in return.
Between March 2022 and April 2023, he molested the children several times in his car and took photos of it. For example, he asked them to give him a massage. The boys refused, after which he began writing threatening emails to the 11-year-old Ukrainian.
“You are no longer welcome here. I have the power to deport you and your family,” one of the emails read.
At the trial, the official admitted most of the charges.
