The meeting of European ministers on security guarantees for Ukraine was called a circus
14.04.2025 - 16:59U.S. President Donald Trump has accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his predecessor in the White House, Joe Biden, of doing a “terrible job” that led to the outbreak of the war in Ukraine.
Trump made the statement on his social media platforms.
“The war between Russia and Ukraine is Biden’s war, not mine. I had nothing to do with this war, but I’m now working to stop the death and destruction. If the 2020 presidential election hadn’t been rigged, this terrible war would never have happened. President Zelensky and ‘Lyin’ Joe Biden’ did a horrible job by allowing this tragedy to begin. There were many ways it could have been prevented. But that’s in the past. Now, it must be stopped — and quickly,” Trump wrote.
This marks the first direct public accusation from Trump against Zelensky in quite some time.
