04.03.2025 - 09:43U.S. President Donald Trump has ordered the suspension of all military aid to Ukraine, increasing pressure on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky following their dispute at the White House.
This was reported by Bloomberg, citing a Pentagon official.
The information was also confirmed by CNN, which referenced a White House representative.
“The U.S. is suspending all ongoing military aid to Ukraine until President Trump determines that the country’s leaders demonstrate a genuine commitment to peace,” an unnamed U.S. Department of Defense official stated.
The official noted that deliveries of all American military equipment not yet in Ukraine would be halted, including weapons currently in transit by air and sea or awaiting transfer in transit zones in Poland.
According to the report, Trump instructed Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth to “implement this pause.”
Bloomberg adds that it remains unclear exactly how much U.S. assistance is affected by Trump’s order.
