U.S. President Donald Trump is set to convene a meeting today to discuss stopping aid to Ukraine.

This information reported according to The New York Times, which cites sources familiar with the matter.

The meeting will include Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. The goal is to “review and possibly take action on several policy options regarding Ukraine.”

“Among these options is the suspension or cancellation of U.S. military aid to Ukraine, including the latest shipments of ammunition and equipment that were authorized and funded during the Biden administration,” an anonymous official told the publication.

Earlier, The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump had instructed officials to explore the possibility of halting arms shipments to Ukraine. The directive came immediately after his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House, which reportedly ended in conflict.

Additionally, the U.S. Secretary of Commerce recently stated that the United States would not provide security guarantees to Kyiv or any other form of assistance while Ukraine remains at war with Russia.
