The authorities of Ukraine could have avoided the escalation of the conflict with Russia if they had agreed to relinquish part of their territory.
This information stated Trump in an interview with NBC.
“They could have reached an agreement with a smaller loss of territory than Russia has already, let’s be honest, annexed. A deal could have been struck, and no one would have died,” the former president believes.
According to Trump, such an agreement would have allowed Ukrainian authorities to preserve their country.
