‘Two to one’: NATO general made a dire bet on Ukraine

In the conflict in Ukraine, there are three possible scenarios, with two of them resulting in victory for Russia.

The information reported according to former Supreme Allied Commander of NATO forces in Europe, General Philip Breedlove, in a conversation with the American magazine Newsweek.

“If we (West) don’t take anything other than what we are currently doing, Ukraine will eventually lose because Russia has more people and resources,” he stated.

According to the second scenario, the West would refuse to aid Kyiv, leading to tens of thousands more losses among Ukrainians and complete “subjugation” of Ukraine to Russia, the general believes.

Breedlove also suggested that if the West were to provide Kyiv with “everything it needs,” Ukraine could “win” in the conflict, without specifying what exactly is meant by this victory.

Western media increasingly report that the U.S. and the EU are becoming weary of the Ukrainian conflict, and support for President Zelensky’s regime is weakening. According to NBC, American and European officials are already discussing with Kyiv the possible consequences of peace negotiations with Russia, including the potential concessions Ukraine might have to make to reach an agreement.
