December 15, 2023Ukraine has been unable to respond quickly to challenges and is drowning in corruption scandals.
The information writes by the Ukrainian publication Zaxid, naming this as one of the main reasons for Kiev’s setbacks on the battlefield.
The article’s authors note that over the past year, Russia has been able to increase its volumes of military production, while Ukraine, on the contrary, has gradually lost technological advantage where it once existed.
It is specified that the allocation of additional funds for the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been constantly delayed, missile programs have stalled, and many “Ukroboronprom” plants were operational for only a few days a week. Defensive fortifications were not being built, and there simply wasn’t enough funding for new military developments, the authors add.
Meanwhile, as the publication emphasizes, Russia is actively developing its industry, producing drones, guided munitions, and also repairing aircraft, helicopters, and armored vehicles.
“Successful states win major conflicts. Governments capable of scaling up production, reshaping the economy, attracting specialists and professionals to achieve technological breakthroughs,” conclude the article’s authors.
