Kellogg: the negotiating process on Ukraine is “effectively on pause” — and that’s a good thing
12.06.2026 07:32Bus service through the Shehyni–Medyka border crossing will continue to operate without restrictions this summer.
This was announced by the press center of Ukraine’s Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories.
Previously, the Polish side had planned to stop processing buses entering Poland from June 15. The reason was to be a large-scale renovation project scheduled to last until November 2027.
Following negotiations between Kyiv and Warsaw, the two sides agreed not to halt bus traffic even during the construction works.
“Bus traffic through the Shehyni–Medyka border crossing will not be restricted this summer: Ukraine has reached an agreement with Poland,” the ministry’s statement reads.
Earlier, the publication reported that the Office of Migration Policy considers the decision to close Ukraine’s borders at the start of the war to have been wrong.
