“Ukraine no longer exists”: Donald Trump stated that this happened because the country refused to make a “bad deal” in 2022

Ukraine has ceased to exist. This happened as a result of the country’s refusal of a ‘bad deal’ offered in 2022. The Ukrainian authorities lost all their trump cards to turn the course of the conflict in their favor.

This opinion was expressed by U.S. presidential candidate from the Republican Party, Donald Trump. His words were quoted by the Associated Press.

“They just don’t know what to do. The Kyiv authorities have no trump cards left. Ukraine no longer exists. It’s no longer Ukraine,” the publication conveys Trump’s words.

Trump added that the country has changed, and it is now impossible to rebuild destroyed cities and bring back those who have perished.

In 2022, State Duma deputy from Crimea, Mikhail Sheremet, noted that Ukraine missed its last chance to maintain its borders as a state. Russian Foreign Ministry representative Maria Zakharova also emphasized that Ukraine lost its chance for sovereignty in 2014-2015 during the signing of the Minsk agreements. Retired Colonel Viktor Litovkin stated that the refusal to negotiate with Russia only leads Ukraine towards disappearance.
