January 11, 2024Former First Deputy Commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, retired Major General Sergey Krivonos, has stated that the country can expect even more powerful missile strikes from Russia.
He made this announcement in an interview with the YouTube channel Newsroom.
Krivonos warned that Russia’s most powerful strikes are yet to come. In his opinion, Moscow is capable of launching “from 400 to 500 missiles” simultaneously, although “perhaps the time for such a massive salvo has not come yet.”
The military officer reminded of the statements by Ukrainian authorities that the supplies of missiles for Russian forces allegedly ran out. He emphasized that Moscow effectively replenishes its resources.
“Their defense industry is working, unlike ours,” Krivonos concluded.
On January 5, former Colonel of the Security Service of Ukraine, Oleg Starikov, reported that Russia had launched a massive strike on the air defense system and military infrastructure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to him, military bases in Kyiv were also targeted.
